The rings come from gymnastics: it is one of the six apparatus of men’s artistic gymnastics. But their use has crossed the borders of this sport and this tool has become very popular in the world of cross-training and street workout.
This popularity is due to the fact that the rings have no equivalent to develop upper body strength. From basic dynamic exercises such as dips, pull-ups and muscle-ups to static strength exercises such as front lever and back lever, the progression stages are numerous and the athletic qualities developed through rings are multiple.
